Abstract
A novel synthesis of t(3)-Methyl-r(2),c(6)-diarylpiperidin-4-onecyanoaceticacidhydrazones 1–3were synthesized and Characterized by IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectral studies. The structures were investigated for antibacterial and antifungal activity. the observed vicinal proton-proton coupling constants suggest that 1-3 adopts chair conformation with the equatorial orientations of all substituent’s.
Keywords: piperidin-4-onecyanoaceticacidhydrazone, Spectral, antibacterial, antifungal activity
