Secretion of Antibacterial Substances by Fish Gut Microflora for Resistance against Infections: A Specialized Review

Abstract
The intestinal bacteria produce some bioactive substances like tetrodotoxin, eicosa-pentanoic acid, biotin, Vitamin B₁₂ and antibacterial substances which may benefit the host fish. There exists strongly a symbiotic relationship between fish with its constituent microflora.
