The delivery of drugs by inhalation is an integral component of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) management. However, even with effective inhaled pharmacological therapies, asthma, particularly, remains poorly controlled around the world. Aim of study is to determine the errors occurred in the usage of inhalers and to access the knowledge of patients in their usage of inhalers. A non-randomised observational study in a multispeciality government hospital was carried out for two months period. We monitored the patient’s knowledge about the usage of inhalers by the questionnaire evaluation. The results of our study showed that improper usage of inhaler by the patients with MDI as compared to DPI is in increased rate. Hence our study proved that inhalers usage was not educated to the patients and it has to be improved for their better compliance.
