Abstract
Emergence of resistance by microbial and fungal stains towards existing antimicrobial agents is one of the major complication as well as stimulation to developing the latest class of antimicrobial agents possessing strong activity compared to commonly used treatment. Coumarine Oxadiazole derivatives shows antimicrobial, anticancer and anti-inflammatory activity. The derivatives with strong antibacterial activity were put through molecular docking studies to study the structural activity relationship between the active derivatives and biological targets.
Keywords: Coumarin, Antimicrobial activity, Molecular docking studies, Oxadiazole.
