Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Some Novel Aryl Substituted thiazolyl-4-thiazolidinone fused Pyrimidines as Potent Anti-Microbial and Anti-Inflammatory Agents

A B S T R A C T
An innovative series of aryl substituted thiazolyl 4-thiazolidino pyrimidines has been synthesized by the condensation of 5-dimethylaminomethylene-2-(4-phenyl-thiazol-2-ylimino)-thiazolidin-4-one with urea, thiourea and guanidine and evaluated for their anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory activities. Three compounds were used for screening of anti-bacterial activity as well as anti-fungal activitity and one compound screened for anti-inflammatoty activity.
