The aim of the presant work is to formulate and evaluate fast dissolving tablets of Meprobamate by using super disintegrants for the improvement of solubility, dissolution rate & oral bioavailability. To optimize optimum concentration of super disintegrates. To perform various quality control evaluation parameters for the prepared tablets. The prepared tablets are subjected to various physicochemical evaluations and the results were found to be positive and the compatability studies also proved that there is no interation between the polymers selected. The best formulation is selected depending on the drug release in the given time and F2 selected as the best formulation as it shows 97.26% of drug release in 25min. further studies can be performed to improve the stability of the meprobamate fast dissolving tablets.
