ABSTRACT
The present research work is involved with the evaluation of Matricaria chamomilla Extracts on plasma lipid levels in Triton -X-100 induced hyperlipidemic rats. In conclusion our results suggest that the post treatment with methanolic extract of Matricaria chamomilla showed dose dependent antihyperlipidemic activity against Triton-X induced hyperlipidemia indicating that naturally occurring plant components phenolics and triterpenoids of this plant may be used as starting structures for the potential development of antihyperlipidemic agents.

Keywords: Matricaria chamomilla, anti-hyperlipidemic.
