Synthesis and Antimicrobial Studies on New Substituted 1,3,4-Oxadiazole Derivatives

A B S T R A C T
A mixture of hydrazide, substituted aromatic aldehyde and ceric ammonium nitrate in dichloromethane taken in a beaker. Structures of the compounds synthesized were confirmed by IR, 1HNMR and Mass spectroscopic analysis. The newly synthesized compounds were screened for antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory activities. Some of the compounds showed remarkable antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory activities.
