New carboxylic α,α-diamino diacid:2-[(Benzoylaminocarboxymethyl)amino] benzoic acid

A B S T R A C T
2-[(Benzoylamino carboxymethyl) amino] benzoic acid is a new carboxylic α,α-diamino diacid which was synthesized in very good yield through alkaline hydrolysis reaction of 2-[(1-benzamido-2-methoxy-2-oxoethyl)amino]benzoic acid after obtained this latter through N-alkylation reaction between methyl α-bromo glycinate N-benzoylated and 2-aminobenzoic acid. The structure of the prepared compounds were determined by spectroscopic methods: ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, and MS data.
