The objective of the present study is to explore anti-fertility and lipid peroxidation properties of ethanolic extract of whole plant of Leonotis nepetifolia (EELN).The different doses of ethanolic extract were given by gavage to rats in the In-Vivo  test at doses of 100, 150, 200mg/kg of body weight to rats in group II, II & III respectively, along with control dose. At the end of study various parameters such as biochemical and testicular lipid peroxidation levels were analyzed. Findings of this study explored a significant decrease in the Alanine amino transferase, Aspartate aminotransferase and Alkaline phosphatase levels in EELN treated rats when compared to control. But Malondialdehyde levels were significantly increased in EELN testicular tissues in dose dependent manner when compared with control. The present study, it concluded that ethanolic extract of whole plant of Leonotis nepetifolia have antifertility effects in male rats.
