Formulation and Evaluation of Home Made Poly-Herbal Face Pack

ABSTRACT
The main aim and objective of the present work is to formulate and evaluate a homemade readily available poly herbal face pack which is prepared from locally available ingredients and used as a cosmetic. Aloe Vera gel, Carrot powder, Indian Sandalwood powder, Neem powder, Orange peel powder, Papaya powder, Rose water, Turmeric powder, and Tulsi powder are the main ingredients used in the formulation. Nine different formulations of face pack was formulated and evaluated for physical parameters and Irritation studies and the all formulations shown good physical properties. The herbal cosmetics are non toxic in nature; reduce the allergic reactions, cheap, easily available and time tested usefulness of many ingredients. Thus in the present work, we found good properties for the face packs and further optimization studies are required on this study to find the useful benefits of face packs on human use as cosmetic product.
